The two met at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio at a mutual friend's party. The night ended with Malcolm asking, "Can I have your number to make sure you get home safe?", which was apparently a smooth move in Stephanie's eyes. It's been history ever since.

COVID shut the world down but Stephanie and Malcolm kept in touch and officially started dating November of 2020. Malcolm graduated in December, 2020 and stood by Stephanie as she finished her undergraduate and graduate programs. The pair moved to Cincinnati in May of 2022. Since then, they have adopted Reginald (Reggie) and Pekka who have brought much joy and beautiful chaos to their lives.

Aside from pampering their cats, the duo truly enjoys being present with their other half. They frequent neighborhood walks, bike rides around the city, going to the Renaissance Faire, and hiking among other activities.

Since moving to Cincinnati, they have hosted an annual Halloween party. As fate would have it, their biggest celebration yet will be on the Spookiest Night of the Year. They are over the moon to celebrate with all of their loved ones!
